Terms of service

1. Scope of service

Foxy Tweaks ("we", "the service") provides manual PC optimization services performed by CatGamerOP, together with downloadable digital products listed in our shop. Optimization sessions are delivered live and one-to-one via remote desktop software (AnyDesk or equivalent). Digital products are delivered as file downloads or text payloads through the ticket system. The service does not include physical goods and there is no product to be returned.

2. Pricing and payment

Prices are stated in the ticket prior to the commencement of any work. Payment is made to the PayPal account identified in the quote, using one of the accepted payment methods listed in the FAQ. Work commences only after payment has been received and confirmed by us.

3. No-refund policy

All sales are final. Upon receipt of payment by CatGamerOP, the engagement is considered commenced and all amounts paid are non-refundable. Our deliverable consists of professional time and a configuration tailored to the customer's specific hardware; once that time has been expended, no return is possible. Customers are encouraged to ask any questions and request clarification of the quote prior to making payment. Submitting payment constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of this policy.

4. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute against a paid quote constitutes a material breach of these terms. The consequences are permanent and non-reversible:

• Removal from the Tweaking and Community Discord servers, with no right of return
• Permanent block on opening tickets on this site under any account
• Refusal of all future services from CatGamerOP under any identity

These measures are the sole protection available to an independent operator against fraudulent disputes. Customers who are not prepared to honour the no-refund policy in section 3 should not submit payment.

5. Customer obligations

By engaging the service, the customer agrees to:

• Provide accurate and complete information regarding their hardware. Misrepresented specifications may render the work unusable and do not entitle the customer to a refund.
• Create a backup of important data prior to any session. We are not liable for data loss resulting from operating system reinstallation, BIOS updates, or related operations.
• Follow all post-session instructions, including those concerning operating system updates and third-party cleanup utilities. Documentation is provided with each delivery.
• Refrain from redistributing tools, configurations, FoxOS builds, or other digital products purchased through the service. All such items are licensed for the purchasing account only.

6. Assumption of risk

Overclocking, modification of BIOS firmware, and operating system level changes carry inherent risks. In a small number of cases, hardware may exhibit instability following optimization, particularly where it was previously operating at the limits of its rated stability or where its condition was misrepresented at the time of the session. The customer accepts these risks at the time of purchase. We accept no liability for damage attributable to pre-existing hardware faults, undisclosed specifications, or modifications made by the customer after the session has concluded.

7. Conduct

The rules of the Tweaking and Community Discord servers apply to all communications. Harassment directed at CatGamerOP, other administrators, or other customers in any channel will result in removal from the servers and refusal of future service.

8. Data we collect

We collect only the data required to deliver the service and to administer the community:

• Your Discord account identifier, username, and avatar, obtained through Discord OAuth at sign-in
• Messages exchanged between you and CatGamerOP through the ticket system
• For members of the Tweaking booking server: join and leave events, role changes, and public channel messages, captured by our moderation bot

This data is not sold, leased, or shared with third parties. It is retained only for the purposes of providing the service and operating the community.

9. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. The effective date of the current version appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the service following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
